Cesar was born in Iguala in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. At 20 years of age, after working on his family’s land, he decided he could do a better job of helping them by being employed in the United States. Accordingly he came to Santa Barbara and started working for resqme, Inc. in 1999. This makes him our longest standing employee!
Cesar is responsible for preparing orders for shipment, and a lot has changed since he was hired! When he started, there were only two safety products on sale and three people working for the company. Now, we offer many products, and have many more people in the company! Seeing the company and the line of products develop has been deeply rewarding to him and he enjoys the variety of his responsibilities. He says: “You are always active! From prepping to wrapping and making sure that every step is correctly fulfilled.” As a committed employee who values our product, customer satisfaction is important to him.

Fun fact: he met the president of the company, Laurent Colasse, on a soccer field! They were team buddies. When he is off work, Cesar loves to play soccer and spend time with his family and friends.
