One of the most significant milestones for us in 2024 was the launch of the Whistle For Life product. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and security, the Whistle For Life is an innovative personal safety tool designed to empower individuals in critical situations. Whistles For Life was created by Robert W. Cameron, a seasoned expert with 50 years of experience in search and rescue. Drawing on this vast knowledge, he developed a patented whistle design featuring three built-in chambers, allowing the sound to project in multiple directions and reach up to 120 dB. Our founder, Laurent Colasse was inspired by Cameron’s dedication to safety and we are thrilled that resqme is able by Cameron’s dedication to safety and we are thrilled that resqme is able to harness the life-saving Whistle for Life.

The resqme has proven to be a lifesaver in several instances in 2024. Earlier this year, the resqme helped save a man’s life from a car engulfed in flames. In St. Paul, Minnesota, Sam Orbovitch, was trapped in his car when a group of five brave citizens, determined to help, rushed to his aid. One of the rescuers was equipped with a resqme car escape tool, which allowed him to break the car window and free Sam. Thanks to the quick thinking and bravery of these individuals, Sam was safely pulled from the vehicle. Without the life-saving resqme tool, Sam may not have escaped in time. This powerful tool is a reminder of how critical it can be in moments of emergency.
In addition to saving lives in emergencies, resqme is committed to assisting those in need during natural disasters. 2024 had its fair share of natural disasters, catastrophes, and other severe events. This caused many people anxiety and the need to create an emergency preparedness plan.
