Road safety is a growing concern. Nobody wants to be involved in a car accident, and it’s the reason brands like resqme exist: to help people feel, and be safe on the roads. But certain kinds of road hazards are entirely avoidable, like those that result from distracted driving.
The folks at belairdirect, a home and car insurance company based out of Canada, put together this infographic on the dangers of texting and driving, and some of the statistics are very alarming. Did you know that you can drive past the length of ten football fields while reading and replying to a text message? Or that as a driver in rush hour traffic you have more distractions than a fighter-pilot in a non-combat mission?
Taking your focus away from the road for even one second can result in catastrophe and so we hope this infographic reminds you to stay alert and stay safe on the roads.
