The UMP Charles Anges Ginesy filed a bill to equip all vehicles in the French park with a seatbelt cutter and window breaker.
According to Victoria Meyrieu–Sabarly autoactu.com:
“Charles Anges Ginesy filed on September 23 a bill to improve the chances of survival for victims of road accidents who are still conscious. Thus, just as the yellow vest, for example, vehicles (except motorcycles)must be equipped with a seat belt cutter and a glass breaker in the vehicle cabin and near the driver. According to the MP, this kit will be wortharound 10 euros, and could “save lives, especially in the mountain areas, where the risk is enhanced with the loss of visibility and the risk of fallinginto a ravine.” Moreover, it would allow witnesses to come rescue accidentvictims. According to parliamentary attaché MP, the Toyota team is alreadyrolling this out in its vehicles in Norway. “
We at resqme, Inc. do not only contribute a useful tool, but also the effort to increase awareness on safety and to generalize the steps that save lives in an emergency in a vehicle. In collaboration with Dr. Giesbrecht, we worked tostandardize these steps and create a universal procedure to avoid fatalitieswhen motorists were stranded in their vehicles.
Educating users about the four steps that make a difference in saving livesseems crucial.
We must take all precautions to avoid as much trouble as possible. It iseasier to prevent a delicate situation than solving, prevention is better than a cure!
A few words from Laurent Colasse after learning of this possible new law:
“Even if it would be very beneficial to my company, I think that education and awareness of the risk of accidents are more for the interests of motorists today.”
Come review the proposed new law of Charles Ange Ginesy, MP – MayorPeone–Valberg, 1st Vice President of the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes.
We welcome your feedback.
